Welcome to Heshima Restoration Ministry's Site (Heshima is a Swahili word for honor or Dignity) It began in Uganda in 1997 with an individual Rebecca Birungi Now Rebecca Kimbugwe who had lost her people with HIV/AIDS and left with over 10 orphans in her care. Rebecca began as an individual and struggled with her small income to support these orphans.she has helped over 20 orphans and 10 homes caring for them in a rented house or giving them help at their guardian homes. Later on many people, community leaders and churches approached her for help hence the birth of HRM ministry! Heshima Restoration Ministry (HRM) is a not for profit charity. Being registered with the Uganda government as a limited company whose aim is to restore dignity and honor to vulnerable children, orphans and widows and giving communities of Uganda a hope through development projects such us environmental conservation, modern agriculture, HIV/AIDS awareness and support, household empowerment, formal and informal education, child welfare/education and health care. It has its offices in Wairaka trading center,Jinja District and it reaches to more than 6 districts in Eastern Uganda with different services. Heshima is maned by 7 people who are tho founders.
